ACCUWEATHER APP LAUNCH

In Summer 2020, AccuWeather launched a redesigned app with enhanced features and a better user experience. The upgraded app tells the story of the here and now as well as what is to come, allowing users to be prepared for what is happening outside their door and future adventures. The AccuWeather Design and Marketing teams developed a launch campaign that began running in July. Both performance and brand creative ran simultaneously, showcasing app features/UI and the benefits of weatherproofing your next adventureThe launch campaign ran across paid and owned properties and included digital advertising, social media, DOOH, PR, and more. From July to December, the campaign drove 564 million impressions and 3 million downloads.
