To grow AccuWeather's strong app user base and to have more control over user acquisition, app store optimization was brought in house in 2021. Creative, copy and user acquisition strategy is lead by the brand design team and analytics. Four times a year, 650+ assets are created for the App Store and Google Play. The creative showcases the season and the latest and greatest app features in a sophisticated, eye-catching expression that sets AccuWeather apart in a crowded competitor space. This creative sets the standard for all app advertising seasonally.
